Gary Pooni

In his role as president of Pooni Group, Gary drives the firm’s growth and guides major client projects as strategic lead. With nearly 30 years of urban planning-related experience, he has spearheaded some of the country's most significant projects throughout Metro Vancouver, Vancouver Island, the Sea to Sky corridor, Alberta and Ontario. His expertise includes strategic guidance, policy planning, public consultation and entitlement negotiation. Often recognized as the man behind the Lower Mainland's most complex projects, Gary was listed as a “change-maker and power player shaping our world” in Vancouver magazine’s 2022, 2023 and 2024 Power 50 list. Gary sits on the board of the Urban Development Institute, both in Vancouver and the Capital Regional District. He is also passionate about his community and has been part of several boards including the Provincial Health Services Authority, Vancouver Canucks Alumni Foundation and SUCCESS; and also works to support Fraser Academy School, Royal Columbian Hospital and New Westminster Secondary School. Gary also has a family foundation that works on several community initiatives. Gary holds a master’s degree in environmental design (Planning) from the University of Calgary and a B.A. in Geography from Simon Fraser University and is a member of the Canadian Institute of Planners. Lastly, and most recently, Gary has become certified as an ordained minister in the Church of Dudeism.

Evan Allegretto

With over 15 years of development experience in varied roles, Evan is President, BC at Intracorp Homes - a fully integrated developer focused primarily on urban development. Intracorp has built over 25,000 homes, and currently has a BC pipeline of projects with gross revenues totaling over $2.8 billion. In his role, Evan oversees business development, business operations, and acquisitions strategy as well as managing the success of Intracorp’s projects by overseeing project feasibility, product development and execution. Evan has been named a Business in Vancouver BC500 Influential Leader twice. He advocates for the development industry and its pivotal role in shaping thriving communities through his role as a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce Housing and Development Council. A member of the Urban Development Institute Executive Committee, he is also Vice Chair at Large for the UDI Board of Directors, Chair of the UDI Burnaby Municipal Liaison Committee, and an industry liaison for municipalities across Greater Vancouver. Evan has held several Board positions for not-for-profit organizations, including Burnaby Neighbourhood House, UBC’s Real Estate Club and Highlands Early Learning Centre. Leveraging his extensive internal and external networks, Evan champions the alignment of improved systems and processes within the local development sector. He firmly believes that strategic collaboration between developers and government agencies can lead to better housing solutions for British Columbians.

Kristen Devaney

As a partner of PCI, Kristen leads a team of dedicated finance and accounting professionals and is responsible for providing leadership and overall financial direction of the accounting and finance functions for PCI and WPM. She provides strategic direction and oversees financing and capital activities at PCI. Kristen obtained her Chartered Accountant designation at Deloitte and has held various senior finance roles in real estate, finance and infrastructure industries.

Jordan Carlson
Senior Vice President, Investment Group
Anthem Properties Group Ltd.
Jordan Carlson is President, Anthem Holdings Canada and SeniorVice President, Investment Group for Anthem Properties at large. In these roles, he oversees the operations of an11.5million square foot income-producing property portfolio comprised of retail centres, office buildings, industrial buildings, and multifamily rental buildings across Western Canada, including the oversight of the asset management, leasing, property management, and accounting teams and functions servicing the real estate. Additionally, he leads the acquisitions function for the entire company, and works closely with equity partners ranging from public pension plans to high-net-worth individuals.
